OSU sent me a big banner, it is for our big celebration this August as our sunny island will be celebrating SG 50 in a big way!
The banner is blank, it is for us to make it ours. It will be used on National Day event this year or any event we might have in the future. We could hang it up as our backdrop, or send a picture home to join in the celebration.
I am inviting you to come doodle with me, draw, paint, write, be creative and do whatever you want to make the banner that best represent our club.
If you are interested to be a part of this, please send Kirsty an email, and then we will work on a date that everybody on the list is available to work on this project.

like to recognise these community efforts paying tribute to Mr Lee that are
happening all across the world.
Since February, when Mr. Lee was admitted to SGH, we have been keeping close watch on the news, twitter feed and other form of social media, deep down inside, I hope he could hang in there until Singapore celebrate our big 50 in August, but........we learn the sad news yesterday (3/22/15 Vegas time) around 3 PM, much earlier than my sister in Singapore got the news, that we have lost our founding father Mr. Lee Kuan Yew.
I can't tell you how sad I am, as you all know, I am a big fan - HE IS MY IDOL!
My children grew up listening to me preaching about how great our country is because of one man. Despite spending most of their life in the United States, my children are all Singapore citizens. We all have a better life because of him. Thank you Father Lee!

Hi, I am back! I know I have a major hiatus! Things wasn't going so smooth with planning the Chinese New Year dinner this year, but...... sigh! I survived!
And I think......
What good is it for me to be dwelling and crying.......
thinking this is totally unjust, unfair and unreasonable.
Well, I learn......
It is important that I learn to let go, put my energy on what's truly important, and continue to do what I have been doing.
Despite nearly 100% of the blog post on our old website was done by me, I was blocked from the weebly site and no longer able to update anything, so THIS and THIS will be the new place for keeping you guys updated.
First of all, I would like to thank all of you, who attended our Chinese New Year dinner on Saturday 21, 2015. Your support meant a great deal to me! THANK YOU!!!!
A group of 30 started the evening with Lou Yu Sheng 捞鱼生, also known as Lo Hei 捞起 (The Prosperity Toss), is a Teochew style raw fish salad.
Best dress award goes to.....
Rosie of course, she always came in her best......
Oranges for good luck, please take one....
It was a great evening after all.... thank you once again for being there!
